In a recent investor exchange event, “Enter the Listed Companies,” held on January 8, key figures from Jiangsu General Technology Co., Ltd., including GM Chairman Gu Cui, Deputy General Manager Gu Yahong, and others, showed the company’s strategic initiatives and project updates.
The second phase of the Thailand project, initiated on September 27, 2023, is on track for production in the second half of 2024, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion abroad. The Cambodia base, operational since May 22, 2023, is rapidly increasing production capacity and volume, with plans to commence the second phase’s construction this January. With a total investment of 1.495 billion yuan, the Cambodia project aims for production by the fourth quarter of 2024.
Internally, GM’s Wuxi base is undergoing transformative changes, with 6 million semi-steel and 100,000 OTR technical transformation projects in progress. Overseas orders continue to surpass expectations, with the company striving to achieve full production at the Cambodia base by the first half of 2024. The semi-steel project in Wuxi is predicted to begin production in the latter half of 2024, with full-scale production slated for 2025. This ambitious expansion positions Jiangsu General Technology at the forefront of the global tyre industry.
