Goodyear Farm Tyres has established a new Low Sidewall Technology Development Centre in France, enhancing accessibility for UK and European distributors and customers to this innovative product. Titan International’s French HQ will commence manufacturing and customizing wheels for LSW wheel and tyre assemblies from April, boosting efficiency and flexibility.
LSW assemblies, known for operating at up to 40% lower inflation pressures than standard tyres, enhance crop yield by reducing soil compaction. With a larger rim diameter and smaller sidewall, LSW offers exceptional flotation properties, minimizing road lope and enhancing stability on wet soil.
This shift to a French base enables faster delivery to European countries and facilitates smaller quantity orders with diverse wheel offsets. Lindsay Hart, European Sales Director, emphasized the significance of this move, enhancing accessibility to LSW benefits for European markets.
Popular LSW combinations include 1100/45R46 and 1000/45R32, compatible with various tractor models. Scott Sloan, agricultural products manager, highlighted LSW’s positive reception globally, addressing growers’ everyday challenges effectively.
Titan International has been manufacturing Goodyear Farm Tyres in America for over a decade, catering specifically to the European market since 2019.
